Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the Priest in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during mass.
Eucharist Ministers must have received all their sacraments--Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation.
If you have any questions or interest in becoming an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion or already are a EMHC and would like to be added to the list, call your parish office or speak to Fr. Scott.
Lectors hold a vital role during the Mass, as they proclaim the Word of God during the Liturgy of the Word. If you are feeling called to read the Sacred Scriptures, contact either Parish office to learn more about this opportunity.
Would you like to carry the crucifix during the processional marking the beginning and ending of Mass as well as present the gifts of bread and wine to the Altar of Christ? If so, contact your parish office to have you or your family added to the Mass assistants list.
The Greeter Ministry is a very important role in our Parishes. Greeting parishioners and visitors with a warm welcome, smile, and friendly hello will help them feel welcome and comfortable as they arrive.
This ministry is open to all parishoners young and old. It can be made up of families, couples, or friends. No training or experience requried. Contact your parish office if you would like to become a greeter for your Church!
"Serving at the altar is a privileged way to draw closer to Jesus, which in turn enables you to open yourselves to others, to journey together, to set demanding goals and to find the strength to achieve them." Pope Francis, 2015
The primary duty of an Altar Server is to assist the priest during Mass. If you are feeling the call to become an Atlar Server and have received the sacraments of Baptism and First Communion, please contact either Parish office.
The Rosary is prayed approximately 25 minutes before Mass begins. The repetition in the Rosary is meant to lead one into restful and contemplative prayer related to each Mystery. The gentle repetition of the words helps us to enter into the silence of our hearts, where Christ's spirit dwells.
Anyone is welcome to lead the Rosary. Please contact either Parish office if you would like to lead the Rosary.
