Server Training 2018

Server training was held at St. Mary with the desire to attract younger kids to fill upcoming openings. Our current servers are getting older and we took the opportunity to train younger kids, who have received their First Communion, how to be an altar server during Sunday Mass. Our current servers walked them through the responsibilities they have before, during, and after Mass. They even had the opportunity to practice some of the tasks such as, lighting candles, and washing the priests hands. The children were very interested in learning about the role and are excited to become servers in the upcoming months. If your own children have interest in becoming altar servers please contact your parish office or talk to Fr. Stan after Mass.
